TRELAWNY, Jamaica — The Trelawny police have released the name of a man as a person-of-interest in the murders of the two St James children, whose bodies were found in a pond in Trelawny earlier this month.
The police are seeking Kemar Warsop for questioning in relation to the murders of 10-year-old Meleeka Mitchell, also known as ‘Jody’, and 12-year-old Omari Sterling, both of Paradise Norwood, St James, whose bodies were found in Trelawny two days after they went on a beach trip and went missing.
Warsop is said to frequent the Dump-Up Beach, Gloucester Avenue, Montego Bay, St James, Hague and Race Course in Trelawny.
The police are asking Warsop to report either at the Falmouth police station or the nearest police station.
Meanwhile, another suspect in the double killing, who was held in St Mary on Saturday then handed over to the Trelawny police, is being interrogated by detectives assigned to the Trelawny CIB.
