Alleged gunslinger surprised by cops in Montego Bay

A St James man was reportedly surprised with a gun in his possession by a police team on an operation in the Ironshore area of Montego Bay on Tuesday night,

Jason Robinson, a 23-year-old unemployed of Ironshore, has been charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition as a result of the alleged seizure.

Police reports were that Robinson was spotted at a house with the weapon in his hand at about 11:10 pm.

Upon seeing the cops, he reportedly ran into a bedroom at the home, where he allegedly attempted to hide the firearm.
