Back-to-back killings in Trelawny

Investigators assigned to the Trelawny Police Division are now probing the murders involving a hotel worker and an unidentified man who were killed in separate incidents in the parish between Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The police have so far identified one of the deceased as 24-year-old hotel worker, Jonathan Crosdale of Bounty Hall, Trelawny.

The second incident took place about 4:10 on Sunday morning, when men kicked open a door to the house occupied by the hotel worker and his spouse and her four children.

The armed thugs opened fire, hitting Crosdale, who was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The first incident took place in Duanvale, where the body of the unidentified man was found with multiple bullet wounds about 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

No motive has been established for either killing, which were the first two to be recorded in the parish this year.
