ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Firefighters are now trying to put out a blaze in Jack’s Hill, St Andrew.
Public Relations Director for the Jamaica Fire Brigade Emelio Ebanks told OBSERVER ONLINE a short while ago that a call notifying them of the fire came in at approximately 4:56 pm.
He said he was unable to say the extent of the fire, but assured that a unit was on location attempting to extinguish the blaze.
In Jack’s Hill last year July, firefighters worked feverishly to bring a massive bush fire under control, that some residents had described as the worst ever in the area.
