George Nooks to make court appearance on Wednesday

This is after he was allegedly found with a small quantity of cocaine in St Andrew recently.

Nooks was arrested and charged on Friday, May 5.

According to a police report, about 9:00 pm, lawmen were on an operation in a community when they observed Nooks acting in a manner that aroused their suspicion.

He was reportedly accosted and a bag he was carrying searched. Just under two ounces of cocaine was allegedly found in the bag.

The artise was offered station bail in the sum of $80,000, and has since suggested that he was set up.

He has secured the services of Queen’s Counsel Tom Tavares Finson, and the attorney has expressed confidence that the artiste will eventually be exonerated.
