The Jamaican dollar depreciated by nine cents on Monday against its US counterpart while the Canadian dollar re-entered the $100 territory, according to the trading summary from the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ).
The dollar closed Monday at $127.11 from $127.02 on Friday, the prior day. The movement is slowly returning to the record low of $131.31 on Friday September 15th 2017.
The British Pound closed at $174.84 from $177.51 while the Canadian dollar closed at $100.20 from $99.78.
