Jamaican dollar devalues by $2.15 against Canadian counterpart 

The Jamaican dollar lost $2.15 against the Canadian dollar even as it revalued by five cents against the US counterpart on Monday,

according to the trading summary from the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ).

The dollar closed at $131.68 on Monday from $131.73 on the prior trading day. It hit a low of $132.99 on June 19 and then revalued to current levels.

However the Canadian dollar closed at $101.37 from $99.22. While the British Pound Sterling closed at $172.61 from $173.35.
