Jamaican woman nabbed by US marshals awaits trial 

KINGSTON, Jamaica – A Jamaican woman was on Wednesday arrested by marshals in the United States for possession of and attempting to smuggle cocaine.

She has been identified as 29-year-old Mckadia Damale Alcock.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Alcock is being held at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Florida, where she is awaiting trial.
