KASANOVA REMAINS MISSING

UP to press time yesterday, there was no update as to the whereabouts of missing entertainer Kasanova.

According to Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s information arm, the police is still investigating his disappearance and they are yet to receive any leads as to his whereabouts.

“He is still listed as a missing person because we have not gotten an update to say he has returned home. The police are, therefore, still investigating his disappearance,” said CCU representative who requested not to be identified.

Kasanova (given name Ariel McIntosh) is a 23-year-old singjay who hails from West Cumberland in Portmore, St Catherine. He has been reported missing since Thursday, July 20.

A few days before he went missing, Kasanova left a cryptic message on his Instagram page.

“It will all end soon. Rather die a free man than live in bondage… There comes a time when you have to lose your life to live your life and lose all in order to win the one thing that matters most, Freedom,” he wrote.

Earlier this week, his manager Sheldon Lincoln said he has been receiving death threats following the artiste’s disappearance.

Kasanova is of dark brown complexion, slim build and is about 6 ft 3 inches tall with bleached skin.

Reports from the Cross Roads Police are that, about 10:30 am, McIntosh was last seen in the Cross Roads area dressed in a black long-sleeved T-shirt, black jeans, and a pair of white shoes.

A former colleague of dancehall artiste Alkaline, Kasanova is said to be the writer behind several of his hits songs including 123, Gone Away, and Things Me Love.

In 2015, he launched his career as an artiste and has, so far, released songs like Kings and QueensDallaz, One Last Time and Bun Fi Bun, a collaboration with Macka Diamond.
