WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — One man died and two people were injured in a motor vehicle crash along the Retreat main road in Westmoreland early Sunday morning.
Dead is 20-year-old Delano McFarlane of Bessie Baker district, Hanover.
The Savanna-la-Mar Police report that McFarlane was a passenger in a Toyota Corolla motor car travelling along the roadway when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a utility pole about 6:15 am.
All three occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital, where McFarlane died while being treated. The driver and a woman, the third person in the vehicle, were admitted in serious condition.
