ST JAMES, Jamaica — One of Jamaica’s most wanted men Delano ‘Prekeh’ Wilmot has been shot dead in a major military operation now underway in Richmond Hill, St James.
The security forces are now hunting alleged gangster Richard Anderson, also known as ‘Cruz’, who escaped.
Residents are being urged to be on the lookout for him.
The security forces are also reminding residents that not only is it a crime to harbour a fugitive, but it is also very dangerous as this individual is extremely violent and heavily armed.
Anderson and Wilmot are accused of numerous crimes including multiple murders and shootings.
The lawmen are urging Cruz to turn himself in to the police at once.
Residents are advised to call police 119 emergency number or the JDF TIP line at 876-837-8888 to report any information or knowledge that they may have about Cruz’ whereabouts.
