Singer Spiritual has dropped the video for his latest single Time Has Come . The song is featured on his album Awakening , which was produced by Oufah Music and released by New York-based VP Records.
Shot on location on the island, the video portrays Spiritual narrating a story about a troubled man looking for escape after he purloins tapes from reggae archives.
He is then confronted by a preacher, but just when he believes he has gotten away, he is confronted by Spiritual. “I’m really impressed with this new video, and the feedback I’m getting is really inspirational, which makes me want to keep on this journey,” said Spiritual.
“I am for the people and this kind of response to the work we are doing shows that we definitely cannot stop. I appreciate and thank all who took part in the making of the video. This is for all humanitarian, peace-loving people Raspect.”
Time Has Come is the follow-up to Spiritual’s recent video Stand Up to Rasta.
Spiritual, whose real name is Horace Chin, is from the Allman Town area of Kingston.
