KINGSTON, Jamaica — Quarter-miler Ricardo Chambers has been included in Jamaica’s team for the World Championships after he was left out of the list submitted on Monday.
Chambers, who finished third at the Senior Championship but was later disqualified, made the announcement of his good fortune on his Facebook page.
“Just receive one of the best news of my life. I’m now included on the team for worlds…words can’t explain how happy I [am] feeling right now, God is good,” he said.
Chambers, who finished third in the 400m at the NACAC Senior Championship, has a seasonal best of 44.93 seconds which make him the fourth fastest Jamaican behind Javon Francis 44.50 and Rusheen McDonald 44.60.
