CLARENDON, Jamaica — An eight-year-old girl was among three people who died in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of the Salt River and Mitchell Town main roads in Clarendon on Saturday morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 9:15am and involved a 2003 white International motor truck and a 2016 green Toyota Corolla motorcar.
Along with the child, a 44-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man were killed in the collision.
Since the start of the year, 181 people have been killed in traffic accidents on the nation’s roads compared to 198 over the same period last year.
