NEW YORK, United States – TMZ is reporting that 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, who has been hospitalized since she was discovered unresponsive in her bathtub at her Georgia home two weeks ago, is experiencing organ failure and is dying.
Quoting family sources, TMZ stated that “because several of Bobbi Kristina’s organs are shutting down, it does not matter if her father Bobby Brown withdraws life support.”
At a candlelight vigil on Monday, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Tina Brown said that her niece’s condition was “progressing” and that she was “getting better.” Another aunt, Keolah Brown, told Fox 5 Atlanta that the young woman was “moving her eyes” and that her doctors said “she is improving.”
While she was said to have experienced an “improvement in brain function” at one point, TMZ reports that her condition has since declined.
Due to his religious views, Brown has reportedly maintained that he will “do what it takes” to keep his daughter alive, even if that means if she remains on life support with little possibility of recovery. While some family members do not agree with his stance, they will respect his decision, according to the site.
