Former Minister of Transport, Housing and Works, Dr Omar Davies, is now in hospital.
He was taken to hospital by family members this morning.
Loop News understands that Davies was taking his routine morning walk when he began to feel light-headed and decided to go home.
While at home, Davies began slurring and his condition began to worsen.
Doctors are now carrying out tests to determine the cause of his illness.
