Crooks steal LIME cable in Hellshire worth $2m

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police have launched a manhunt for criminals, who stole more than 400 metres of cable valuing some $2 million belonging to telephone company LIME, along the Hellshire main road in St Catherine over the weekend.

Communication officer of LIME, Elon Parkinson, said that the company was informed of the development after residents in the St Catherine community complained about disruption in Internet and telephone service.
