Dancehall deejay Merciless is currently at home recuperating following a beating that left him allegedly unconscious last evening.
Music News understands that the entertainer was at a bar in Free Town, Clarendon at around 2:00 pm, having a drink when he was approached by a man. The man a reported taxi operator is accused of using a piece of iron to beat the dancehall deejay all over his body.
According to a Music News source, Merciless and the man in question are reportedly in a dispute over damages following a motor vehicle collision.
The police are currently seeking the whereabouts of the attacker.
Meanwhile, when Music News contacted Merciless, he was unable to speak as he was resting.
