JUROR IN VYBZ KARTEL MURDER CASE TO FACE THE COURT ON MONDAY!

The juror in the Vybz Kartel murder trial who has been arrested on allegations that he attempted to bribe a fellow juror is to face the court on Monday.

It had been originally expected that he would have been taken to the Half-Way Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court today.

The juror is facing a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The allegation was reported to court officials who informed prosecutors and the police of the incident.

It is reported that the juror approached a female juror on the panel and offered her $500,000 to enter a not guilty verdict.

Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn has disclosed that the juror faces up to three years in prison if convicted.
