A man and a woman were shot and killed in Mocho, Clarendon on Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as Natalie Campbell, a 27-year-old resident of Mocho, and Druvaugh Cole, otherwise called ‘Alex’, of Sandy Bay, also in the parish.
The police reported that about 12:00 a.m., residents heard loud explosions and alerted law enforcement personnel.
A team of police officers later arrived in the area where the shooting took place and during a search, the bodies of the two persons were found.
While the police say they are still trying to establish a motive for the killings, there are on-the-ground reports that the deceased persons were lovers who were killed in bed at the woman’s home.
Sources have indicated that the killings may have stemmed from a domestic dispute involving a third person.
