One dead, seven tourists injured in Trelawny crash 


Aman died as a result of injuries he sustained during a crash that involved two motor vehicles along the main road in Trelawny on Saturday night.

Seven tourists were also injured in the crash which involved a Nissan motorcar and a Hiace minibus.

Reports are that about 9pm, the minibus, which was transporting the seven tourists to a hotel in St Ann, collided with the motorcar along the Duncans main road in Trelawny.

An occupant of the car, as well as the tourists, were taken to hospital for treatment.

The passenger from the car, who was of a St James address, succumbed to his injuries.

The Duncans police are investigating the incident.
