Police intensify search for ‘Duppy Film’ 

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police today intensified their search for Marlon ‘Duppy Film’ Perry, one of Jamaica’s most wanted men.

In a joint police/military operation earlier today, lawmen combed the Harbour View area of St Andrew in an effort to apprehend ‘Duppy Film’ and his cronies.

eports are that Duppy Film and four other men attempted to escape the security forces’ dragnet, but one was shot. The others, including Duppy Film, escaped and are now being sought in August Town, St Andrew.

The deceased man has since been identified as Jason Foster.

Only three of the men are now said to be on the run, after police confirmed that another of the five was held in the hot pursuit of the hoodlums. He was reportedly found hiding in a church.

Meanwhile, the police have appealed to residents in the communities that now have a high presence of police and military personnel to remain calm and comply with the instructions of the security forces.

Also, the Police High Command says it is offering a J$1.5 million reward to anyone who can give reliable information leading to the arrest and charge of ‘Duppy Film’, who is from Phillipsfield in Yallahs, St Thomas.

Duppy Film was implicated in the brutal slaying of Corporal Kenneth Davis and Constable Craig Palmer on Tuesday, December 22.

The policemen were killed on the Poor Man’s Corner main road in St Thomas.
