D Medz—
SINGJAY D Medz says performing at this year’s Peter Tosh Tribute in Belmont, Westmoreland, is a tribute to one of his musical heroes.
“I’ve been listening to him from mi was a youth. Peter Tosh was an artist who mek music that last, which is what I want to do,” said D Medz.
The Clarendon-born artist, who lists Mama Africa and Glass House among his favourite Tosh songs, performs Sunday at the Belmont Academy in the ‘Stepping Razor’s’ hometown.
It is the closing day of the three-day event. D Medz (given name Dwayne Adams) is currently promoting his EP, Empower, and the single Champion.
