Political historian Troy Caine has died.
Caine passed away on Thursday afternoon after reportedly ailing for some time. He was 71.
He was a Gleaner columnist and a radio commentator on political affairs.
In 2011, he was conferred with an Order of Distinction for his contribution to journalism in the field of culture, political history, and Jamaican literature.
