VETERAN deejay Charlie Chaplin recently shot the video for his latest single Freedom. The single was released a month ago on artiste’s Krown Production imprint.
“It’s [the single] doing well, so we decided to do the video to help getting it out. Remember, if you have two books — one with pictures and the other without — the one with the pictures will be be looked at more,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
To assist with the visuals, Super K Production was contracted and it was shot on location in Kingston. The video is co-directed by Andrew Lee Pryce and Chaplin and slated for release next week.
“The song is about a man and his common-law wife. She says things are hard in Jamaica and migrates to what she feels is greener grass… and the twists and turns that follow,” she said.
