Wanted man ‘Mad Indian’ among 2 killed by Westmoreland cops 

Twenty-eight-year-old Damion Williams, one of the Westmoreland police’s most wanted men, was one of two men killed in an alleged  gun fight with police in the parish on Thursday morning.

Williams, also called Bad Indian of Orange Hill, Westmoreland was killed along with Kwayne Campbell of Barnett Side, also of a Westmoreland address.

Reports are that about 4:30 am, the police were carrying out an operation in the Orange Hill community when they were greeted with gunfire.  The gunfire was returned and Williams and Campbell were subsequently found suffering from gunshot wounds.

They were pronounced dead at hospital.

Williams was being sought by the police in connection with murder and shootings.
