Bunny Wailer’s 70th Birthday Celebration Gets Underway Today 

Iconic Reggae music pioneer Neville O’Riley Livingston, stage name Bunny Wailer (Jah B) is preparing for his 70th milestone celebration on Monday.

The surviving founding member of The Wailers has dedicated 55 years of service to the development and preservation of Jamaica’s musical genres.

Jah B’s earthstrong activities will overlap with the inauguration of Rastafari Month.

The month long celebration will include a dinner dance celebration launch of WailerSka Lifestyle Brand honouring The Wailers & Skatalites starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Saturday will see a beach clean-up and community interactive session. Then, there will be a media launch of The Wailer’s Museum, celebrating the life and legacy of Bunny Wailer at 10:00 a.m. at the Bournemouth Beach Complex.

The activities will culminate with a Bunny Wailer/Wailers tribute one love concert on April 22 at 10:00 p.m., celebrating the 39th Anniversary of The One Love Peace Concert at the National Stadium in 1978.
