ONLINE POLL: What Ziggy album?

KINGSTON, Jamaica — After a week and 4,295 respondents, eight out of every 10 in an OBSERVER ONLINE poll say they do not know Ziggy Marley’s album that won the Reggae Grammy on Sunday, January 26.

Ziggy won his second solo Best Reggae Album Grammy for his ‘Live in Concert’ set, a 14-track album, recorded on his 2012 world tour.

‘In Concert’ contains songs from his work with the Melody Makers, including ‘Justice’ and ‘Tomorrow’s People’, as well as ‘True to Myself’ taken from his first solo album, ‘Dragonfly’.

Ziggy’s first solo Grammy came in 2007 for ‘Love is my Religion’. Prior to that Ziggy also won three Best Reggae Album Grammys with the Melody Makers, a group that included his brother Stephen and sisters Sharon and Cedella.

Ziggy, Bob Marley’s eldest son, got the 2014 Grammy nod over Sly and Robbie and the Jam Masters’ ‘Reggae Connection’; Sizzla’s ‘The Messiah’; ‘One Love, One Life’ by Beres Hammond; and Snoop Lion’s ‘Reincarnated’.
