The Jamaica Scorpions continue to face defeat in their WICB regional 4-day Pro League match against the Windward Islands Volcanoes at Arnos Vale in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Scorpions closed the second day on 249-8 in their second innings reply, a lead of only 82 runs.
Fabian Allen was not on 64 while Paul Palmer Junior made 56 and Devon Thomas 42. Trevon Griffith also made 29 against Shane Shillingford 5-83 and Kyle Mayers 2-36. Earlier, the Windwards posted 223-9 declared in their first innings reply after resuming on 181-6.
Devon Smith carried on to an unbeaten even century from his overnight 66. Captain Nikita Miller took 5-58 and Derval Green 2-35.
Jamaica were dismissed for a record-equalling lowest regional score of 56 in their first innings on Friday’s opening day.
