Alkaline set to perform for the first time in Jamaica after a long hiatus from the island

Just one week after his much talked about feud with legendary dancehall entertainer Beenie Man, dancehall’s current ‘it-man’ Alkaline seems to have announced

that he will be performing live at a solo event presented by Brownstone Entertainment and New Era Promotions called ‘New Rules’ in Kingston, on March 25th.

The announcement was made on the deejay’s Instagram page where he captioned a picture of the flyer with “Mhm.”

The artiste’s caused social media stir  last week after Beenie Man had made claims that Alkaline was done with “dutty Jamaica”, a statement which caused younger artiste to defend himself, calling the 43-year-old a liar on Instagram.

This will be Alkaline’s first performance in Jamaica since his rise to prominence in the last two years.
