According to the MET office, forecast models project more rainfall for sections of mentioned parishes on Wednesday.
National Works Agency on Tuesday reported that hours of heavy rains caused flooding in Runaway Bay (Northcoast Highway) and along the Seamans Valley road in the Rio Grande Valley, Portland.
The police also reported that several roadways such as Runaway Bay Cross Road in St Ann were also blocked due to heavy rain.
Motorists were also advised to use the alternative route, which is the Bamboo main road.
Loop sources also reported that areas such as Jacks River main road in St Mary were also blocked to the point where some farmers were trying to take their livestocks to higher grounds.
