Jamaican dollar hits new low 

The Jamaican dollar hit new low of against its US counterpart on Wednesday, according to the Bank of Jamaica trading summary.

The dollar closed at $131.58 from $130.29.

The previous low was $131.31 last September but revalued during much of early 2018.

The Canadian dollar closed at $99.96 from$101.47 while the British pound sterling closed at $176.28 from $174.69.
