KINGSTON, Jamaica — Lead attorney for convicted dancehall DJ Vybz Kartel, Tom Tavares-Finson has signaled his intention to appeal the guilty verdict against his client.
Speaking to the media moments after the guilty verdict was handed down, Tavares-Finson said that while the defence team accepted the ruling of the jury, an appeal was imminent.
“There is an appeal process on which we will embark. We have to accept it an move along,” he said
