Man on bail on gun charge allegedly opens fire inside police station

Two days after a man allegedly discharged an illegal firearm inside the Cross Keys Police Station in Manchester, he is still at large and being sought by the police.

In fact, the man – Orlando Lee, 25, of Blenheim district in Newport, Manchester – was reporting to police personnel at the station on Tuesday as part of the condition of his bail in relation to a case of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Reports from the police are that about 4 pm, while Lee was at the police station, cops observed a bulge in his waist.

The police officers reportedly attempted to accost him and Lee allegedly pulled a firearm from his waist and opened fire inside the station before escaping.

No police officers were injured during the incident, the police said.

The police have now listed Orlando Lee as “wanted” and are urging him to surrender. They are also appealing to anyone knowing his whereabouts to call the Mandeville Police Station at 876-961-5538, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
