The murder trial involving dancehall entertainer, Ninja Man has again suffered another delay.

The artiste, whose given name is Desmond Ballentine, was expected to stand trial in the Home Circuit Court this morning, however, the matter had to be pushed back because his attorney is said to be unavailable.

The matter, which has been before the courts since 2009, has now been re-scheduled to April 7 next year.

The Home Circuit Court was told that Attorney-at-Law, Valerie Neita-Robertson, is currently involved in another court matter that started weeks ago.

This is the latest delay to have prevented the case from being tried.

Ninja Man is accused of the March 16, 2009 murder of Richard Johnson.

He is jointly charged with his son Janiel and another man Dennis Clayton.

A fourth accused, Seymour Samuels, has died.
Ninja Man is out on bail.
