ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The police, to include detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA),

say they are aware of a disturbing video being circulated on social media portraying child pornography and are currently carrying out investigations to determine its origin.

At the same time, the police also implored the public to desist from sharing the video.

“This action constitutes an offence under the Child Pornography (Prevention) Act and the Cyber Crimes Act,” said the police, adding that there is a strong possibility that sharing the video can result in further trauma to the child.
