HANOVER, Jamaica – The police have confirmed that a man was shot dead in Hanover early this morning, while a US woman was sexually assaulted by the attackers.
OBSERVER ONLINE has learnt that the two were at a bar some time after 2:00 am in Cousin’s Cove, Hanover when armed men entered and robbed the establishment and its patrons.
It is said that upon leaving, one of the assailants opened fire, hitting the man. They proceeded to abduct a female patron who they allegedly sexually assaulted before later releasing her.
The gunshot victim was taken to the hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
