Several Killed In Shootings Across Jamaica On Wednesday 

Jamaica’s murder tally continues to rise with several killings reported on Wednesday.

Some of the victims were shot Wednesday night in the Kingston West Police Division.

About 11:00 p.m., men opened gunfire on persons on Eighth Street, Greenwich Town, leaving two dead and three injured.

The deceased have been identified as 37 year old Jalel McBean, of Eighth Street, and 22 year old Shamar Neil, a resident of Southboro, Portmore, St. Catherine.

The other killings occurred in St. Ann, St. James, Clarendon, Portland and the St. Andrew Central police divisions.

Two other persons were shot and injured in St. Thomas and Central Kingston.

Three murders were recorded on Tuesday.

More than 550 persons have been murder in Jamaica since January 1.
