Fugitive wanted in US for allegedly killing wife, nabbed in Jamaica

The Jamaican police have apprehended a man who was on the United States’ wanted list for allegedly killing his wife and fleeing from the country.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force’s (JCF) Fugitive Apprehension Team nabbed the man who has been on the run for more than four years on Tuesday, June 2.

The man, identified as Oshane Lewis, otherwise called ‘Danny’, a construction worker, was residing at a Kingston 11 address when he was arrested through a joint effort by the Fugitive Apprehension Team and personnel from the Hunts Bay Police Station.

The police said extradition proceedings were to be initiated against Lewis in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Thursday, June 4.
