The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is looking for a Jamaican who was denied entry by immigration authorities at Piarco International Airport on February 24 after his passport was found to have been tampered with.
He has been identified as Doray East , 33, from West Hills, Montego Bay, St. James.
It’s reported that East used obscene language and displayed disorderly and violent behaviour after being informed of the denial of entry.
He was subsequently charged with destruction of property belonging to the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago and obscene language.
On February 26 when the matter was called before an Arima Magistrate the case was dismissed due to the non-appearance of the complainant from the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago.
The court was not informed of the impending deportation of Mr. East and he will therefore be detained and confined.
