Flippa Mafia’s brother slapped with 20-year sentence in US

NEW JERSEY, United States (AP) — A California man convicted for his part in a drug ring that shipped cocaine to New Jersey has been sentenced to 20 years in state prison.

Kemar Davis, of Hollywood, was sentenced on Friday for his part in running the ring that also included his brother, Andrew, a Jamaican dancehall DJ who records under the name Flippa Mafia.

Their brother Roger was also sentenced to 10 years in state prison for drug charges. Kemar and Roger Davis both pleaded guilty, while Andrew was convicted at trial.

Investigators say Andrew Davis directed the ring from both New Jersey and Jamaica. They say he directed Kemar Davis and others to ship kilogram quantities of cocaine from California to New Jersey, where it was then distributed to dealers.
