ST ANN, Jamaica – The two St Ann policemen who were on Sunday confirmed dead have been identified.
They are Kemo Walsh and Andewale Smith. They were both police constables.
OBSERVER ONLINE understands that today would’ve been Smith’s birthday and that the men were out celebrating at a bar in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
It is alleged that there was an altercation between the two and Constable Walsh was shot.
While Walsh was being transported by police officers to hospital, reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that Smith shot himself. Constable Smith was also in the motor vehicle being used to transport Walsh to hospital.
