NASSAU, Bahamas (CMC) – Police say they have arrested four American citizens for possession of drugs.
A police statement said that the three men and one woman from Florida were arrested on Sunday after officers from the Tourism Policing Unit acting on intelligence went to a cruise ship moored at Prince George Wharf, where they found the four suspects in possession of a quantity of marijuana.
The police gave no details regarding the amount of drugs found in their possession, but said they were taken into custody and are expected to appear in court early this week to be formally charged.
Meanwhile, police said they have arrested two men, ages 20 and 17, after they were found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and 14 rounds of ammunition on Sunday.
