KINGSTON, Jamaica — A man has been arrested and charged following the seizure of an illegal firearm at Rum Lane, Kingston, on Monday, January 2.
The man, whose identity is been withheld to facilitate further investigations, has been charged with illegal possession of firearm.
Reports from the Kingston Central Police are that about 8:40 pm a police team saw the man removing the firearm from his waistband and throwing it to the ground. He was accosted and the firearm, a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver with six expended casings, retrieved.
