‘Queens’ to be honoured

UNITED States-based reggae singer Mye Laurell is launching her company called Nyte Nurse Pro at Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records on Constant Spring Road in St Andrew, later tonight.

She told the Jamaica Observer that the company will be geared towards nurturing and inspiring females within the entertainment indusutry. Among the first set of projects will be the Queens of Reggae Honorary Ceremony, during which Mye Laurell said she will honour some of the industry’s unsung heroes.

Slated to be held in Kingston in July, the entertainer said an awards ceremony such as this will help to build confidence and support among the industry’s females.
