Trinidadian arrested on murder charges in Guyana 

GEORGETOWN, Guyana (CMC) – Guyana police have confirmed that a 50-year-old Trinidad and Tobago man wanted on double murder charges in his country, had been arrested here.

It said that Ralph Ramdhan, also known as Vernon Rampersaud, is wanted in Trinidad and Tobago for committing the crimes in 2014.

The wanted man was arrested in cooperation with INTERPOL.

The police said he was found in a city hotel and was in the country illegally.

“He is in custody awaiting deportation and escort back to Trinidad,” the police added.
