Monday, March 12 is the new mention date for murder accused, 25-year-old Fabian Skervin and his girlfriend, Nekia Thompson.
The two are before the St Thomas Parish Court for the brutal murder of Jamaican-Canadian returning residents, 81-year-old Melbourne Flake, and his 70-year-old wife, Etta, at their vacation home in Retreat, St Thomas on January 9.
The date was set when Skervin and Thompson appeared in court on Thursday. They were remanded in custody and a bail application is expected to be made when they next appear in court.
Skervin and Thompson are each charged with two counts of murder and one count of robbery with aggravation, for the slaying and robbery of the elderly couple.
