Detectives in St James probing the murder of 68-year-old American, Heidi-Ann Muth, whose body was found in Ironshore a week ago, say she was booked at a Spanish hotel in Montego Bay.
The body of the elderly American woman, which had multiple stab wounds, was stumbled upon by passersby along a dirt track in Hatfield Meadows in the upscale community last Sunday.
An autopsy result revealed that she died as a result of stab wounds to her abdomen.
But the police have not yet determined if the American tourist was killed elsewhere and dumped in Ironshore.
The Coral Gardens police are investigating.
