Burst pipe causes water lock-off in Corporate Area

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The National Water Commission (NWC) says that customers in sections of the Corporate Area will experience disruption in their water supply today due to a shutdown of the Ferry water supply system.

The shutdown, they say, is to facilitate repairs to a broken 18-inch pipeline.

The areas that will be affected include downtown Kingston, Spanish Town Road, Duhaney Park and Washington Gardens and Washington Boulevard.

NWC did not state when the repairs are expected to be completed.
