Abusinesswoman was ambushed and shot dead in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, early Saturday morning.
She has been identified as 43-year-old Veronica Allison De Leon, the owner of De Leon Bananas Limited.
According to reports, around 6:09am, De Leon was driving her Range Rover along Jungal Drive, off Mendoza Drive, Philippine in San Fernando, when a white AD wagon pulled alongside her vehicle.
Two men reportedly exited that vehicle and opened fire on her vehicle, hitting her, before fleeing the scene.
Investigations are continuing in the Caribbean country.
